About Charlie Dalton

Charlie has always been interested in teaching and training and started as a high school teacher in the UK before moving into the world of professional training. With an MBA, an honours degree in economics, and qualifications in teaching and accountancy, Charlie joined the multinational training firm BPP as a trainer in 1998. By 2001 he had incorporated BPP’s Nottingham branch and continued to successfully run the company until making the decision to become an independent trainer in 2004.
Since then, he has facilitated courses for numerous organisations across the globe, including in New Zealand, Australia, UK, Malaysia, India, China, the Pacific Islands, Mauritius, Mongolia and throughout Europe and Africa.
Charlie is passionate about self-development and since coming to live in New Zealand in 2005 has continued to attend many training courses himself, including courses on being a NZ Assessor, TetraMap facilitation, Te Reo, Day Skipper and Boatmaster qualifications, critical thinking, photography, computer, cookery, football refereeing and PADI open water diving!
The courses Charlie runs reflect his in-depth knowledge of the topics on offer, his own practical experience running and managing a business and the exceptional presentation and communication skills he has built up through years of training and educating experience.
Charlie is passionate about training and aims to make each course fun and relevant to the attendees and to provide great examples from realistic, relevant situations.
